Friends and loved ones have asked the public for help in the search for a successful singer-songwriter who was last seen in late June.
Camela Leierth-Segura, 48, was last seen in the Beverly Hills, California on June 29, according to the California Department of Justice website.
An accomplished musician, her songwriting credits include Katy Perry’s “Walking On Air.” Leierth-Segura is a native of Sweden, where much of her family, including her sister, still resides.
After her sister couldn’t get ahold of Leierth-Segura for weeks, she contacted friends local to Beverly Hills, who were also unable to locate her. This is when a missing persons report was filed.

According to friend Liz Montgomery, who is assisting in the search, Leierth-Segura’s 2010 silver Ford Fusion was last seen leaving Beverly Hills on June 30 around 2:40 a.m., though it is unknown if she was the one driving.
Montgomery told USA TODAY that Leierth-Segura had recently been evicted from her apartment, though it is unclear when exactly this occurred and if she had found somewhere else to stay in the meantime.
Leierth-Segura is described as a white woman standing 5’10” tall, weighing roughly 125 pounds, with long blonde hair and blue eyes. Friends do not know what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance but say she could be sporting a hat and sunglasses.
Her 19-year-old black cat, Morris, who is “like her baby” is also missing and may be with her.

“She means the world to us and time is of the essence,” Montgomery said in a social media post. “Her family in Sweden is pleading for your assistance.”
